Mathoween

The kids school throws a halloween function they lovingly refer to as "Math-O-Ween". The children get to come to the school on a friday evening dressed in their costumes and go from grade to grade doing math related games. Then they get to choose a prize (candy or some other type of treat) from a bucket.

The big favorite among the school is Count Mathula. Count Mathula was actually the principal from the past seven years. He left at the end of last school year to be the president of The Ulster Project. Everyone was extremely disappointed when he left - but they got the surprise of their life when they found out that Count Mathula was going to come back for Math-O-Ween!! It was the reason for attending this year!!!
He asked each child a math question that was at their level and then they got to pick from his special bag.

Macie was excited because he remembered her name!!!!

Collin even answered a math question. Cameron answered a square root equation. He answered faster than I could think the answer!

The kids with a friend from church and school, Quincy. His sister and little brother decided to go hunting this weekend instead of Math-O-Ween. priorities.
