My kids have the coolest Aunt Kelly. She loves them all so much and celebrated their individuality. Every so often she takes each one on a 'special day' and caters to what they are enjoying at that moment. Cameron's special day as a trip to the Star Wars exhibit at Cowboy Stadium which he loved. Cole's special day was an overnight visit with a trip to the Lego store to but his own Legos. Collin's special day is any time he can spend with her right now - everything revolves around Aunt Kelly. Macie's special day was going to be a trip to Cowboy Stadium last June to see Taylor Swift in concert - however - the concert was on the same day as Uncle Brian and Aunt Lacy's wedding - so they didn't go. Well - much to her surprise, Taylor Swift came back to North Texas and Macie got to go to the concert!!
The whole thing started after her regular bedtime, so I'm sure she was already tired going into it.
But - Taylor puts on a great show and I know Macie had a great time. This next picture in the blue dress is when Taylor came into the audience and it was very close to where they were sitting.
I was expecting Kelly to tell me she was a wild and crazy woman all night long, but she said she was pretty reserved. My guess is she was taking it all in and learning Taylor's moves for when she locks herself in the bathroom and sings while looking in the mirror.
And I was right. She has spent several hours in her room or the bathroom singing at the top of her lungs. She had a great time.
