Cub Scout Wanna-Be

Cole is really enjoying all of Cameron's scout activities. He cannot wait until he is able to start his turn at scouting. At the camp out he wanted to play in the Flag Football game so bad - the leader who was in charge of Cameron's team (and the kids) were so sweet to let him play. They even worked him into some of the plays.

And Cole was playing for keeps - there was no "flag' involved for him - he was full-on tackling!

How does the saying go? It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Well - he didn't get hurt so much as his feelings were crushed. He made it ALL THE WAY to the goal line with the ball only to realize that his flag had been pulled about two steps before scoring. That was the end of his Flag Football career!The next picture is when the big boys were practicing their skits and the little boys were watching. It was a good thing because that is the skit that the big boys did not want to do because it required laying on the ground. Well - Cole and Collin were more than willing to lay in the dirt that evening!

Finally - at the campfire - he was being such a goofball and had everyone laughing at him.

Cole had so much fun all day that he fell fast asleep on the 5 minute ride home.
