Date Night

Tuesday Night was a special night in our house. Collin got to go on a 'date' with mom and dad. Cole had been invited to spend the night at Nana's house and go to Grannie's to play dominoes. Collin was extremely upset and disappointed, so Todd and I decided to tell him he was getting a special night with us and we were going on a date. That made everything perfect for him. We brought the camera along to document his date!

First, we went to Black Eyed Pea for dinner. Yum! We didn't know this, but - tuesdays kids eat free - BONUS! Here is a picture of me and Collin at dinner. Real bad lighting and he insisted on taking all the pictures.

Here are the pictures of Todd (courtesy of Collin)

There's a good one.
After dinner we went to walk around the mall. Nana had given us some coupons to ride the carousel, so we thought that would be fun. We walked around and Collin kept doing funny things and making funny faces and begging to have his picture taken. So...
He loved this hat! I think he looks great.
We were having such a good time, we forgot why we were there and never even rode the carousel! Whoops! After the mall we decided to go to Cold Stone - my favorite. Collin and I shared Sweet Cream with Chocolate Chips. He is a strictly Vanilla kid - he wasn't a fan of the chocolate chips. He kept wanting to spit them out.

We had such a good time with him. Todd and I both mentioned how fun it was - but how weird it was without all the others. We really miss them. However - We are glad the big two are getting to experience camp and that Cole was having a great time making memories with Nana and Grannie.
Collin - Daddy and I enjoyed our 'special' date and look forward to many many more. Thanks for all the kisses you showered us with. You are such a sweet boy. Love You!!
