Pinewood Derby

Pinewood Derby was the last saturday in January at the church and we had such a great time! Here is a group shot of Cameron's Den (minus one sweet boy who had to leave for basketball). They are a great group of boys and are having a wonderful time together. Kyle, in the front, won the overall race against the whole pack - very exciting! Raul, in the back - the very tall one - won second place overall.
Here they are watching their race. They were all very supportive of each others cars and were truly happy for the winners. We didn't have any tears this year!

I love how they are all so different and unique to each of their personalities. I have to say - our derby cars have come a long way, baby. Many thanks to Papa Rick and all his cool tools!

Cameron's finished product - and an honorable mention for Best In Show! He was so thrilled to hear that. He wants to win that Best In Show trophy next year!

We have been loving our scout experience so far and can't with for Cole and his friends to start soon!
