Life in the movies/TV is not reality but if it was our family would re-write the scripts....
1. "Psycho" - the story of a mother of four that must clean, cook, pick up after, and do the laundry of everyone while holding down a part time job (which includes watching several other little ones), going to church, scrapbook, oversee homework, handle the cub scouts finances, and tape the yankees/stars games for her husband. Thank you honey, we all know why you snap from time to time.
2. "Whos the Boss" - A 33 year old woman and a 6 year old girl struggle daily to determine who is in charge of a house full of boys. Sarcasm, screaming, dirty looks, and finger pointing are on display regularly as they battle for supremacy in the house. The plot only thickens when it is discovered that the 6 year old is the offspring of the elder and they are EXACTLY ALIKE!
3. "How to lose a guy in 10 days" - On frequent trips to the grocery store, the bank, and other errands a 4 year old boy wanders away from his mother in search of villains only to be found by a frantic mother before he is too far gone. We will call the hero in this movie "Cole".
4. "Groundhog day" - A family trapped in a never ending cycle of having children. Every two years another baby appears, draining the savings and sanity of both parents. In a nightmare on elm street twist...you can never go to sleep.
5. "Miracle" - One woman's mission to wake all four of her children, feed them, dress them, and get them out the door to be on time for school. This film is still in production.
6. "The Outsiders" - In a desperate attempt to spend time together a couple attempts to hire a babysitter. The plan never works out as young girl after young girl find out about all four children in the home and vow never to visit the house, EVER! The couple is left watching other couples enjoy each others company while changing diapers and cleaning floors.
7. "Gladiator" - A man fights crime by night. He is agile, aggressive, some would say EXTREMELY handsome as well. His secret life is lead by day when he does battle with a much more ominous foe - the singing of his 6 year old daughter while he tries to sleep. He cant escape it. It resonates throughout the house. He tries to close the door, turn on the fan to drown it out. He pulls the pillow over his head but it is no match for the shrills of an aspiring 6 year old singer.
8. "Mad Scientist" - An 8 year old child is held down by 3 younger children in a desperate attempt for his attention. He struggles past though, making straight A's and driving his way toward a level of education that his parents only dreamed of.
9. "The Jerk" - A man and father of four spends too many years climbing the ladder at work, trying to save everyone and every thing before realizing that the people at home are far more important. Fortunately this one ends well. He comes to this realization in time to place his wife on the pedestal she belongs and spends the time with his children that they deserve.
10. "Friends" - The love story of the ages. A modest, yet extremely handsome man (as played by the same actor in Gladiator), falls for a beautiful young woman while attending Spanish class. Nevermind that she speaks no spanish now, she remains beautiful. They laugh, they cry, they make lots of children. Through it all they hold onto each other and they learn that being friends is far stronger than anything life can throw their way. Oh, and he actually learns spanish in class, graduates two years before she does and remains handsome to this day. Still, a great story.

Hilarious, my favorite is groundhog day. Too true!
Who knew Todd was such a creative writer and I loved the story. I believe that "Friends" is my favorite movie ... oh and the one about "Who's the Boss?" was pretty funny, too!
