our FIRST plane ride!!!

The kids were very excited about going to New York, mostly because of the plane ride! In part, this whole idea came to fruition because of a promise a daddy made to his little girl the last time he took a trip on a plane. That being, the next time he went anywhere on a plane - she would get to go! So - we decided that we needed to go to New York (it has been TWO YEARS since I last visited) and remembering his promise he decided we could indeed take the two older kids. This, in turn, made us decide that it would also be a great opportunity to take Macie to the American Girl Place as her birthday present. Also - we needed to go to Yankee Stadium and to Shea stadium because it is the last year for both of these historic stadiums. So - it was a busy trip indeed - back to the plane ride ...

This is the just the beginning of our awesome adventure - we took so many pictures it will be hard for me not to post them all. There are so many fun stories to each one - but I promise I will spare you most of them! Posts to come about the ball games, American Girl, our Circle Line Tour and more!
