Dunham HOOPLA

We had a BLAST at our reunion this year (every year). It is always a ton of fun to see cousins that we don't normally see and to spend time together as a family. This year we went to the Lazy H retreat outside of Mason Texas. It was a LOOOOOOOONG drive - especially with the kids - but it was worth it. We had the place to ourselves. There was a playground for the kids, a pool right off the main cabin where we ate and played games, there were deer and cows and other wildlife, hiking trails and a river to feed the fish. My cousin Debra organized the first annual HOOPLA OLYMPICS and that was a lot of fun - we will definitely add that to the MUSTS of the reunion. Anyway - I had hundreds (yes - HUNDREDS) of pictures to choose from - but I will spare you the misery of posting ALL of them (which I really would like to do!) Since we spent most of the time in the pool - here is ONE picture of each of the kids!

Cameron spent most of his time time swimming from one side of the pool to the other side of the pool - over and over and over - he never got tired of that!

Macie was enjoying dunking herself under water and jumping in the pool with her cousin Amanda. In this picture she is laying down in the water - the water is surrounding her whole face hard to tell - but that is what it is!)

Here is sweet Cole. He spent most of his time in the shallow end on the steps playing with pool toys that would line up and organize - then make up stories with them - he did that all day long! And little Collin ... although it took some convincing - he did get in the pool eventually. But - this picture is actually from the bath he took in the large utility kitchen sink. I think he may have enjoyed that (and the shower) most of all!
We can't wait until next year - I am excited to see what one more year of growth does to all those great-grandkids of my Grannie's. It really is nice to get together and visit every year!
