Cameron is twelve! Twelve!!! The time is flying by.
We are having to prepare ourselves that he is no longer a little boy, but he is a young man. And turning into a fabulous young man, at that. We may have some struggles at times, but at the core, he is wanting to be the leader among the children at home. I think this is a tough age for both of us. He is trying to gain that independence and we are afraid to give him that independence. He is still a huge fan of all thing LEGO. In fact, he tells us his goals are to graduate Texas A&M University and then go work in the LEGO factory in Denmark. I believe he can!! He is still a math genius! In fact, he went to the PSIA regional competition for math and WON!! He WON! Came in first place and is on his way to the State competition at the end of this month. We are excited. He starts junior high next year. AACK! It won’t be so hard on mommy, though, because it will still be at ACA, so it doesn’t really seem like a big change. Basketball is his sport of choice, science fiction is his reading choice, pizza is his favorite food choice, and he would rather spend hi birthday with one close friend – than have a huge party. He is always compassionate, and always sensitive.
