Can you believe my angel baby is nine months old? Nine months old!! He has been alive on this earth almost as long as he was alive in my belly. CRAZY!!
You had your nine month appointment yesterday. You got your little toe pricked to check iron levels and you got your first phase of the flu shot – we don’t want you getting sick this winter. The doctor thinks you are growing just right and even called you – Mr. Cool. You hardly fussed at all while he was looking after you.
You are 28 1/4 inches long and 18 pounds. We talked about weaning you to a sippy cup and starting you on whole milk. He knows you aren’t eating baby food and are ready for table food with all those teeth. Your favorites are any kind of beans, baked potatoes, avacado/guacamole and applesauce. Tonight you tried spaghetti.
You are now crawling everywhere. You are even pulling up on furniture, but haven’t started cruising up and down, yet. You are a curious fellow and are picking up everything you can get your hands on – and putting it directly in your mouth! We are so close to your first birthday – I can’t believe it!

He is such a handsome boy! He was just a squishy baby the last time I saw him. Now he's a big boy! Laura says, he's a cutie!
