His most recent surgery was tuesday the 22nd and he amazed us by his bravery and resilience. Here he is in pre-op showing us his superhero arms (they were his two ID bracelets on either arm)
This is his fighting face!
Playing at the train table waiting to be taken back to anesthesia (still doing super hero arms)
And finally, after recovery, riding in the wagon to the car to go home with mommy and daddy. Such a sweet boy.
Even with his surgery coming in the middle of the month - we still had plenty of festivities going on ...BOTH Cameron and Macie had some caroling to do with their scout organizations. Cameron sang at the assisted living center where my Grannie lives, so that was fun and special.
Macie and her friends sang in her leaders neighborhood. They took wagons with them to collect any clothing or toys people wanted to donate and then they were taken to Mission Arlington. (It was actually quite successful. Her leader lives in a townhome complex and she emailed her neighbors though her association so several people were expecting the carolers and had tons of clothing and toys.) It was also cold.
We have even managed to celebrate Christmas with our families already due to crazy schedules this year. Sunday after church we went to my mom and dad's to have spaghetti and presents. Sweet Collin fell asleep right in the middle of the fun. He just crawled in Todd's lap and went to sleep. We had barely even started the presents.
Yesterday we went to Todd's parents for a fun day at the movies (we saw the chipmunk SQUEAKUEL), went to dinner at Ruby Tuesday's, took some fun pictures in front of a fountain and then came home and opened presents.
We are blessed to have such awesome families that love us and our children so much! We love you Mom and Dad and Ricky and Patti for being our parents and showing us what it means to truly love.
